apache shutting down and cannot start

Question

when I reboot the droplet apache seems to run fine for a couple of minutes. but then it shutdown and I cannot restart it. Just wait for it and your computer/laptop will be automatically restart and try to open your XAMPP control panel again, and then start your Apache vidmate .

Hi @vincentroycruz ,

Problems with Apache or any other webserver can occure when dependencies fail as well. My guess, seeing the log above, is that something Apache needs is not working properly. The logs above, only shows that Apache is shutting down…not more.

Do you have something like PHP-FPM working or is the port (80/443) already in use? Check some more logs and post them here to find the problem.

Thanks for your reply as off yesterday afternoon apache became normal. As I have said i disabled the other site only the simple default page was enabled but still apache was shutting down. as of yesterday it was normal again and reenabled the other site. so far so good it did not shutdown. I did not change anything except disabling and enabling the site. no sure what causes that one . if i reboot the vps it works fine for a few minutes then it shutdown. no other error on the logs just a SIGTERM . But for now it is ok since it yesterday. thanks for your reply.
