Question

API returning Auth Issue after Regenerating tokens

Hi, I am facing an issue with API authentication after token regeneration. After regenerating the personal access token and updating script with the new one I am getting 401, {“id”: “Unauthorized”, “message”: “Unable to authenticate you” }. I am following these docs to set all up https://docs.digitalocean.com/reference/api/create-personal-access-token/ and https://docs.digitalocean.com/reference/api/api-reference/#operation/list_all_actions. This was tested via bash, wget and postman.

Please let me know if there is something wrong I am doing and how can I avoid it. Thank you, Davor.

Hi @simekdavor,

Before regenerating your token did everything work correctly? If yes then it’s possible you’ve not copied the token properly or it doesn’t have the proper permissions you are trying out.

If it never worked. Then it’s something more fundamentally wrong, how are you using the token?
