Hi, my client has a website. I am trying to verify the Apple Pay certificate for his woocommerce website to integrate Apple Pay, but whenever I do the verification, it says error.
PS i have placed the cert in .well-known folder of the website directory.

Hey!
I would suggest making sure the file is accessible at:
https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
Also, check that there are no redirects because Apple requires a direct 200 OK response and if there are any redirects it will fail.
Also make sure your server isn’t forcing a
Content-Type
liketext/html
; it should beapplication/json
or left default. You could also try checking your access logs on the server to see if there are any errors in there that could point you to the right direction.
Let me know how it goes!

Heya, @f2d2e56f4ac54882bed952594667fd
Some security or redirect plugins (like Really Simple SSL, Wordfence, or even themes) can block or rewrite
.well-known/*
.You can try to temporarily disabling security/caching plugins or adding an exception in
.htaccess
for.well-known
Hope that this helps!
