I want to build an application that will need to make streaming of video and audio files for users connected through a mobile app. I already have many gigabites of content, including audio and video files, and the VPS default storage wouldn’t be enought.

These droplets are great for streaming audio! You should have no issues with audio or video streaming, the rest will depend on what applications you install to perform those functions and how far geographically your listeners are from your virtual server.
