Question

Bug report. Web Console restores access to the user who is not member of the project any more

Every time when a member of a project opens Web Console of a droplet via DO Control Panel, DO adds a temporary public key to /root/.ssh/authorized_key, but it also adds the public key of the user that is not a member of the project any more.

Hello @anarsalimkhanov,

DigitalOcean teams have assessed this issue and rolled out a fix to stop this behavior Tuesday night (5/31). We are continuing to look into this report, but we wanted to reach out and let you know the behavior you identified is resolved. We will post further updates in our release notes and this thread as we look into this further.

- Matt.

Hello @anarsalimkhanov,

This has been forwarded internally. Thank you for reaching out and reporting the issue!

Just a quick note, can you give more information on the matter? The SSH keys that are being added, I assume they are still present at said accounts?
