We want to set up a production environment with a load balancer with ssl/https, droplets, and a managed database. But our demand will be low initially and don’t want to pay for 2 droplets when 2 are not needed. Is it possible to set the load balancer up initially with only 1 droplet (obviously there would be no balancing, but everything would be set up to add additional droplets). Thanks.

Hello @jmorley,
Yes, this is definitely doable. Just start with 1 droplet and whenever you need you could scale up, add the new droplets and add the new Load Balancer rules.
