Can digitalocean block incoming HTTP request?

Posted on November 5, 2019

I run a facebook bot. Facebook sends many POST request concurrently to my server. But suddenly it stopped working. I have tried everything.Even made a new droplet, domain name and set up everything again. The problem is, when facebook send GET request to verify my webhook callback url, my server doesn’t receive any request.I can’t see anything in log too. I am using Nginx server. But when i try to send request from other server, it works. I can see my server is receiving request and it servers everything perfectly. But when i try from facebook application page, it doesn’t work. I can verify my webhook callback url by using Heroku or even locally by using Ngrok. So i am wondering if digitalocean is blocking those request? i mean, my servers used to receive many requests concurrently.

The process of webhook setup can be found in this page - https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/getting-started/webhook-setup/

Hello, @iamanam

Have you tried reaching to our support team so they can check this for you as well? Also did you made any changes on your droplet shortly before the issue started?

Regards, Alex
