Can I create a recurring automated job that powers off my droplet at 01:00AM and reboots at 09:00AM?

Posted on May 13, 2014

I’m currently using my droplet only for experimental use and creating a site. Nothing that’s included needs 24/7 power.

So at least while I’m asleep, I’m looking for a way to automate my droplet to shutdown and reboot at specific times, every day of the week.

Thanks!

I thought you didn’t had to pay when droplets are powered off, but that appears not to be the case. That makes this feature useless for now.

Nevermind, just kill this question! :)
