I have installed and configured a Ghost droplet, using the 1-Click process from the Marketplace. I was just wondering I can install code-server on that same droplet to edit the templates etc?

You can install additional software on the droplet, this is totally up to you. It’s one to keep in mind that if you update or remove any package this might cause an issue with the droplet itself.
The one-click apps are not scripts that install an app on top of a base OS image for you. They are separate images which include the OS and the software.
You can always backup your data before doing any changes so you can rest assured that if anything goes wrong you can restore everything to how it was.

Yes, I believe that this should be doable. You can follow the steps on how to install code-server manually here:

Another thing that you could do is use an extension called SSHFS and use your VS code installed on your laptop to edit your files directly on your Droplet.
