I am having a hard time finding the answer to this. My old host just had a button that said “domain registration.” It seems like a few years ago this wasn’t offered though Digital Ocean but maybe it is now. I know just enough technically to get myself in trouble but not out. So, please use small words. Haha. Thank you.

You can’t purchase a domain name from Digital Ocean but you can point a domain name to them. So basically, just purchase a domain name from a reputable company like Namecheap and point its DNS records to Digital Ocean name servers.
@X40C . This answer was for another question and I don’t know how it landed on the domain question. I apologize for this.
