In my experience, yes! I’ve actually never had downtime on my droplet however I’ve seen some maintenance messages for other regions which is quite normal however these maintenance windows were always mentioned before the maintenance being performed and not after.
All in all, I’m quite happy hosting my stuff here. Having said that, please bear in mind these are unmanaged Droplets. You’ll need to do everything yourself on them, except the creation part of course.
For me, that’s great as I hate someone else telling me what’s possible and what’s not. With having root access, I know I can do everything I want to.
