Can't find my cron jobs on Ubuntu 16.04.7

Posted on January 25, 2021

I’ve got several PHP scripts that run daily as cron jobs and work fine but I now need to add another one. It was quite some time ago that I set these up and can’t remember exactly how i did it so I went to the tutorial (only one I could find is for 18.04) and tried the two options shown for editing the crontab: crontab -e and sudo nano /etc/crontab

Neither of these crontabs showed the tasks I’d previously added which still run every day.

Any suggestions on where else I can look or any other commands I can try?
