I pasted the TXT string and used the default 3600 and @ for a hostname. Firebase support suggested I use a lower TXT speed and that didn’t help either when I clicked on the verify button inside of the firebase hosting control panel. It says it’s created a new record on the Digital Ocean ‘Create a new Record’ control panel.

Note that it could take between 1 and 72 hours for the DNS cache to clear over the Globe before you could see your DNS changes.
