What is the reason for this report?

Cannot login to droplet with root password after migrating from a different account.

Hi I just restored an Ubuntu snapshot from a different user account, however when I try to login with the root password I receive login incorrect.

There are some non-standard permissions changes that could possibly prevent our system from setting a root password when creating a droplet from a snapshot. I would recommend reaching out to the support team. They can mount a recovery ISO on your droplet and boot it to that. From there you should be able to both access your droplet’s disk image to check for any issues and reset your droplet.
