This can be changed in Administration->Assets as seen here
Favicons are heavily cached both by browsers and by most types of web caching. Once you change your favicon I recommend testing it from a different computer or browser and if there is any concern about a firewall or caching being done on your network, from a different internet connection to see the change. Otherwise you may have to wait up to a few days for the change to be reflected in your browser.
