Changed IP addresses in DNS and it killed on of my CNAME, what am I doing wrong?

Posted on May 15, 2014

Hello!

So I had a perfectly fine running DNS record working with both www.domain.com and domain.com.

We made a move for the website to be on an another server so I went on and changed the IP adress in the DNS record. So far, domain.com works fine, but www.domain.com just loads a blank page.

What would be the steps to try and resolve this?

Thanks for the help!

domain.com and www.domain.com both resolve perfectly fine.

Seems like there was some delay between the WWW cname record and the regular A record. Can’t really tell why but… It works.

In the future, if you want help with a domain name, try actually mentioning the name…
