Cloud9 IDE (or any "cloud" IDE) and Digital Ocean

Posted on March 6, 2014

Is it possible to use Cloud9 or another “cloud” based IDE with Digital Ocean? Ideally I’d like to use my Digital Ocean VPS as a development platform while using my Chromebook. Does anyone have experience with this

Hi, <br> <br>You can checkout www.sourcelair.com, where you can set up DigitalOcean deployment in 6-steps (s.lair.io/blog-deploy-digital-ocean). That means that you can use this feature to push your code to your DigitalOcean server, with a single click. <br> <br>This might fit your needs.

You can easily connect Cloud9 to a Digital Ocean VM. There is a good documentation how to do it at <br> <br>https://docs.c9.io/run_your_own_workspace.html
