Comment take too long on all wordpress sites of my Droplet.

Posted on August 29, 2013

Dear,

If I login, I can comment very fast. If not, the comment system take too long to complete process.

This problem happen with all my wordpress sites. You can try to comment on two pages below: http://bloggeritems.com/templates/shotmag-minimalist-blogger-template-for-photoblog http://repothemes.com/?p=1

I really like Digital Ocean, I am also trying move all sites to DO, but don’t know why I always got many problems with DO for Wordpress.

I hope you can help me on this bug, or just write a full guide to setup full function for Wordpress on DO.

Thank you very much. Tien Nguyen

PS: Your search form for Question not work, and have not email when someone comment on my question.

How many comments do you have? Are you outsourcing your comments, e.g. Disqus, or are you hosting 'em on your droplet? <br> <br>How much RAM do you have? You may want to consider adding swap and/or memcached. If you’re using Apache, you can get a performance boost w/Nginx, PHP-FPM, APC & Varnish.

I use default comment system of Wordpress. You can check in two links that I shared above, now, I place it again here: <br> <br>http://bloggeritems.com/templates/shotmag-minimalist-blogger-template-for-photoblog <br>http://repothemes.com/?p=1 <br> <br>With Blogger Items, it has thousand of comments. <br>With Repothemes, it has only 1 comment. <br> <br>My droplet has 1GB ram, and I added swap. I don’t know if I continue adding memcached or w/Nginx, PHP-FPM, APC … is my ram enough for them? <br> <br>

Now I solved it by adding my site to host file. Thank you.
