Now, regarding the problem. Usually the error you are receiving :
The server found an internal error or incorrect configuration and failed to complete your request.
Can be a lot of things. For this, I’ll recommend checking out your Apache log, in there you should be able to see the exact error that’s causing the issue and act upon it.
If you are not certain how to act on the error, paste it here, I’ll try to help out!
The log should be located in /var/log/apache2/error_log or something similar depending on your Distribtuion.
