Hi, a quick question about billing.. the FAQ doesn't make sense to me. At first look i can see its $5/month for the first plan and thats that!
This is what the FAQ says re billing:
There is no difference between monthly and hourly billing. All droplets are billed hourly, up until a monthly cap. We have estimated that each month has about 720 hours (30 days). If you use your server for less than 720 during the month, you will be billed for each hour that you used it. If you use your server for more than 720 hours that month, you will be billed at the monthly cost, which is no greater than 720 hours.
From this i can see, all droplets are billed hourly, meaning my server will be spending $0.007/hr for each hour it's running, if it runs for a whole month, this will cost $5?
I'm confused over the FAQ's reference to 'if you used your server' does this mean 'how long the server is running?'
I also don't see how i can use the server more than 720 hours if thats all there is in a month, and if i do some how manage to use it over 72 hours i'll still only be banned at the monthly cost being $5?
It's either badly written or i am misinterpreting it, i plan to use the service for a new project so i just want to make sure i have it nailed..
tl;dr: is the maximum spend for first package $5 month (provided i don't go over the BW limits)
