Hello @mittalyashu

Can you elaborate a bit more on how you are connecting. We also request you to open a support ticket under Managed Databases, which will help us to dig in more.

Looking forward to hear from you!

Hello, there

Please make sure that the GUI Application supports connection via TLS because when connecting manually the error - “Server closed the connection” will usually occur when you’re not using TLS (a cryptographic protocol that allows for secure communications over a network).

If you want to access the Redis database manually you can follow this article:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-connect-to-managed-redis-over-tls-with-stunnel-and-redis-cli

Hope that this helps!

Alex

Stunnel is an open-source proxy used to create secure tunnels, allowing you to communicate with other machines over TLS. In this guide, we will walk through the steps of installing and configuring stunnel so you can connect to a managed Redis instance over TLS with redis-cli.
