I have the following questions about snapshots:
- If I were to one day destroy my droplets (after creating snapshots, of course), and continue to store the snapshots long-term, will I be charged for that storage?
- In the scenario described above, what will happen to my account and droplets? Will they be deleted if and only if I choose to?

so far i know that dont charge for snapshots. and i dont think they will delete your snapshot till you got credit on your account.
The snapshots now cost $0.05/GB/mo. So storing a (full) 160GB server’s snapshot costs you $8/mo. You can have an account with only snapshots and no droplets.
