Are there any laws in countries such as Singapore that will allow the government access to our data hosted in these datacenters?

The laws are based off of those, state and federal, of New York County, New York; regardless of location of data centers. This is in regards to the access to your data, but honestly, it would be best to contact a lawyer. Particularly one that’s versed in international law, since the lines become really blurry with this sort of stuff.

I dont’t think there are such laws. Governments may issue laws for websites with illegal content.
