Unfortunately at this time we do not have native support for Windows OSs on Droplets. You may be able to achieve this however by creating your own custom Windows ISO image and then using that when creating your Droplet.

Currently, DigitalOcean only allows the deployment of Linux based OS’s.

NOTE: This is not natively supported on the platform (choosing a Windows OS when you deploy your droplet).

We’d recommend that you add your vote to the Windows Server idea on our Product Ideas Board as well as comment your use-case there so that our teams can better understand your needs.

Hi,

DigitalOcean doesn’t allow you use Windows(iis)as server system as default distributions.But you can upload your custom images for your Droplets.

Please go to someplace you can download iis mirror(I want to give you the site but if I do so,the support team will review my answer and it will be a long time),you can just search iis mirror download.Then go to the page of creating a new Droplets,click the Custom images button at the top of the ‘Choose an image’,upload the file you just download.Or you can explore the marketplace to see if there a system you want.Then create your Droplets,connect it with puTTY or Xshell.But this means the Droplets you are using now should better be destroyed.As for database,just like what you did ago on Windows.Any problems,please contact with this community later.
