I have 2 droplets - 1 x old Ubuntu 14.04 droplet and 1 x new Ubuntu 20.04 droplet. I am in the process of migrating stuff from the old droplet to the new droplet.
For my old 14.04 droplet I chose the resize option of:
Basic Shared CPU 3 vCPUs 1 GB 60 GB 3 TB $18/mo $0.027/hr
This works great for my needs.
For my new 20.04 droplet, I do not have that same resize option available. The closest resize option I can find is:
Basic Shared CPU 2 vCPUs 2 GB 60 GB 3 TB $18/mo $0.027/hr
But I would very much like 3 vCPUs, however a 3 vCPUs option does not exist for my new droplet.
Why are the resize options different between these two droplets?
Is there any way I can get 3 vCPUs for my new droplet?
Thanks,
Steve

Hello @phantomfoot
If a plan is unavailable for resizing, the control panel displays the reason.
You can also reach out to our support team and they can shed more light on this.
I’ll highly recommend checking our recommendations before resizing listed in our Docs:
