DNS on Organizations Site

Posted on September 22, 2016

I have a website at a public IP hosted on Digital Ocean and the domain is hosted by GoDaddy. I’ve followed the documentation:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-point-to-digitalocean-nameservers-from-common-domain-registrars

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-a-host-name-with-digitalocean

Everytime I go to the websitename: ex: Website.com it gets pointed to the new server which is hosted here, but the address bar is still showing the IP address instead of the domainname.com ;

I’ve got a single A record on DO Domain setup: @ 192.xxx.xxx.xxx And the GoDaddy Domain Name is pointing to ns1,ns2,ns3 DO DNS Servers.

Is there something I’m missing?

I can provide screenshots and outlines of my configs on both GoDaddy and DO.

Any help is appreciated.

It was the wp-config.php file that needed the HOME and SITEURL created within the file.

All Fixed!
