Many DNS services has the ability to create templates or apply the same basic DNS setup for many domains. Is that possible with Digital Ocean, or something that could be added in the future?
Lets say I have 10 domains, which should all have the same A records and be pointing at the same droplet. Now I’ll have to create 10 DNS configurations, and it is time consuming the manage. If I have 100 domains, it’s even worse, and the interface isn’t giving a good overview of the domains.
It would also be great if it was possible to create groups/folders for the domains - something that would probably be solved by implementing templates.

We recently implement droplet tagging in our API which does allow you to do some group functions on droplets but this is not yet available for DNS records.
I would recommend either writing your own client using the API or a quick script to use doctl (the command line client) to create domains in a batch.
