Question

DO refuses to resize my droplet.

I followed the instructions in my account but when I hit resize, I got the message “Something has gone wrong”.

I hit the tag ‘backup’ as none of the stage 2 choices were relevant.

Hi Sri,

My ticket number is [Ticket #3213926] Rezize Droplet

Regards

Gary

In our public community, we aim to answer open questions about anything SysAdmin, DigitalOcean and beyond. However, we make every attempt to keep personal information safe and so don’t ever access personal account information here. This means we can’t provide help with any account or billing-related issues.

Do you have a ticket number from when you contacted our support team so that I can get this followed up for you?

Hope that helps!

Best Regards, Sri Charan

Hey @garywilliams

If you’re resizing to a valid droplet size (which the UI should force) one with a bigger or the same disk size and the droplet is turned off you’re doing everything correctly.

You would be best to contact support using the ticket system so they can look into it via your account, as none of us in the community forum are going to be able to help, sorry :(
