DO Spaces without cdn + cloudflare cdn

Hello!
We are using digitalocean spaces with a public bucket for our static content. Right now we use a digitalocean urls, for example:
https://<bucket_name>.<region_name>.digitaloceanspaces.com/logo.png
How can we use our own urls + cloudflare cdn (not digitalocean cdn) to publish static content, for example via https://static.example.com/logo.png?

We try to create CNAME proxied entry in cloudflare: static -> <bucket_name>.<region_name>.digitaloceanspaces.com, but the content can’t be loaded. Is there any way to achieve this? (our own url + cloudflare cdn)

Hey!

In most cases using the Spaces CDN with a custom domain name should be sufficient:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/spaces/how-to/enable-cdn/

DigitalOcean just recently added more Spaces edge servers.

Regarding using Cloudflare along side Spaces CDN, I recently answered a similar question here:

You should be able to get this to work by following the steps here:

Create Space + CDN
Create CNAME for your DigitalOcean CDN
Use Cloudflare’s tool to create origin server self-signed SSL Cert specifically for the CNAME created in step 2.
Use the Spaces CDN option to add a new subdomain certificate. Use the certificate details from step 3.
Make sure to include the CA certificate: https://developers.cloudflare.com/ssl/origin-configuration/origin-ca
You can then proxy via Cloudflare.
