Don't have save button on wordpress editor

Posted on June 6, 2015

Hello, I have recently launched an ubuntu 14 droplet and installed wordpress securely using the tutorial, I am guessing there are some security measures but I can’t seem to have access to the save button in worpress built in text editor, can anyone please guide me on how to give permissions ?

Thanks, Alex

hmm…no save button is an odd one. Have you tried this from a command-line:

sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www

and then:

sudo chmod -R 774 /var/www
