Droplet billing: is it granular after the first hour?

Hi everyone,

I am wondering how exactly are droplets billed at a granular level (minutes and seconds). Let’s say a droplet is billed $1 per hour for the sake of argument.

From what I understand, Digital Ocean bills one hour minimum, regardless of how long this droplet exists for.

So, if I create a droplet, use it for half an hour, then delete it, I should be billed $1.

My question is, how is that system working for > 1 hour usage?

For instance, let’s say I create a new droplet, use it for an hour and a half, then delete it.

Will I be billed $1.5 or $2?
