I created a Droplet from the Wordpress Marketplace image. I tried to install PHPMyAdmin. During the installation, the following message appears:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user
│ 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
I have not been able to find an answer to why this occurs or how to fix it.

Hi @howard,
This error is related to your MySQL instance. Basically, whatever you’ve been doing, the user ‘debian-sys-maint’ has tried to access a database using a password but failed.
This can be due to a couple of reasons. The user you are using ‘debian-sys-maint’ does not have sufficient privileges to access the database you’ve been trying to access or even though the password is being used, it’s wrong. Alternatively, can be both those things together.
Can you describe the process you’ve been following to install the Database so that I can give you some pointers?

Hello all,
So apart from the explanation already, all you need to do to get the password you need to check the /etc/mysql/debian.cnf file.
