Question

Error: failed to get droplet info

For the last three days, whenever I open the Droplet Console, the console window shows the following error:

Error: failed to get droplet info

The droplet is running Ubuntu 20.04.

A colleague can, however, open the console using his account.

I have tried restarting the droplet, but the problem persists.

I would really appreciate any help in resolving the issue.

Hey @mankagunda,

As your colleague is able to open the console, it sounds like this could a browser extension causing the problem for you.

I could suggest a few things:

  • Check your browser web console and see if you are getting any errors in there
  • Try using a different browser to see if the issue persists
  • If you have a VPN, try disconnecting and check if this has any effect

If the issue persists, please reach out to our amazing support team who will be more than happy to assist you with your account issue! :)

Hope that helps!
