I had taken the advice to add the user config to my droplet so I can connect with x2go.
I have tried to connect, once I connected I changed my password. I am now getting the following error.
Connection failed. mesg: ttyname failed: inappropriate loctl for device

In your /home/user/.profile add the following line :
tty -s && mesg n
and remove any other “mesg” line which is the root cause of the problem.
