Free bandwidth grandfather question

My account is supposed to be “grandfathered” according to the blog post. The post does not go into detail about the limitations of this. Is this account wide? Can i create and modify droplets and still receive free bandwidth? How can i verify i am actually grandfathered in properly?

+1 to fs 1TB, the starting limit is a huge itself!

I dont get it. People expect to receive something other people got for pushing DO during beta phase. This is just hilarious.

If you haven’t received the Grandfathered email then your account was unfortunately not grandfathered but you can open up a support ticket and we’ll review the account and see what we can do for you. <br> <br>Thanks!

Also, is there any chance for a suspended account (haven’t gotted around to adding any funds yet :( ) to be grandfathered?

I signed up in Digital Ocean at 01/24/13 (early morning in US), the same date as blog post … <br>I’m grandfather too ?

It is account wide so all of your current and future droplets will not be charged for bandwidth. =]
