Hello, @claudekamgakamgueu

Can you please clarify if you’re looking to build your own mail server in order to send/receive emails? You can use your domain name and create an email account like contact@yourdomain.com and use it to send or receive emails.

You can check the following tutorials on How To Install and Configure Postfix on Ubuntu 20.04 and How To Install and Configure Postfix as a Send-Only SMTP Server on Ubuntu

Hope that this helps. Regards, Alex

Hi there,

What you could do is to use a control panel like Plesk for example. You could install Plesk on a new Droplet with this 1-Click option here:

https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/plesk

Plesk comes with a full-fledged eMail server included. Manage multiple users and mailboxes per domain. Or offer eMail hosting to your customers. Note: to set up your reverse DNS record required to run an eMail service.

On another note, I could also suggest taking a look at this tutorial here:

Hope that this helps. Regards, Bobby

I will like to use my domain name and create an email account like contact@skip-theline.ca and use it to send or receive emails.
