Hello, I’m having trouble making an SG server,

Every time I choose it, it always gives me an Amsterdam IP. LOL

How are you checking IP location? Can you verify IP location on https://whatismyip.com or https://whatismyip.com ? Maybe you are mostly likely looking at outdated or old IP geographic database.

You can use this: Locate IP to know where is located youre server ;)

I selected SG region as a data center but it always giving me 178.128.xxx.xx which is I think its Amsterdam IP

Please clarify what the issue is. i.e. SG Server?, what region are you deploying your droplets in?

IPs are routed to specific datacenters so if you select one you will get one that is hosted in that network. The IPs aren’t shared between datacenters. There maybe some outdated information occasionally if a transfer of IPs and an update is in progress. Also IPs are passed between providers occasionally so depending on where you are checking where the IP is located that information could be outdated depending on how often it is updated.
