At /var/www/ghost directory …
These do not work: sudo service ghost stop sudo service ghost start
These work: pkill node nohup npm start --production & npm start --production

As far as I know, ghost isn’t a service. You use node to run ghost so you would start/restart node. If you want to be able to use sudo service ghost start, etc., you’ll need to create a custom service.
