Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0 ?

I am getting this error on my droplet with fedora 19. I have installed the graphics driver but I am not able to get the graphics driver information through the command
glxinfo | grep -i vendor.
Please suggest me if I have missed some thing.
