Hello. I’m a little surprised there aren’t any threads yet pertaining to Hadoop. Maybe I’m missing something. Has anyone tested any Hadoop installations yet on Digital Ocean droplets?

Perhaps it’s the rest of us that are missing something. What’s Hadoop? What makes it so great?
@troy, I believe that the recent release of private networks have a great deal in that. As making hadoop work over the internet would be very inefficient. I believe that now we might see all sorts of new products being built with Digital Ocean
