The debit cards that I have are currently not being accepted since they require 3DS/VBV mandatorily in my country. I am wondering if I should opt for a third-party Virtual Card Provider like Entropay.
Have you tried paying by entropay? Does it work for you? (Btw, Entropay issues “Visa Classic Debit” cards, if you were wondering)
I know VISA cards are accepted, but I want to make sure since I was using a VISA card earlier (with the 3DS/VBV issue). I want to be 100% sure before putting money into Entropay and incurring it’s fees that it’ll definitely work on DigitalOcean, since that’s the only reason I’d be using Entropay.
I raised a ticket on this issue and they said that they didn’t know themselves and it’s better to post on the forums asking the community.

I have the same question. Its a pretty important question IMHO. Surprised it hasn’t been answered yet.
I was able to use it by adding entropay card to paypal (PAN etc not added) first and then paying digitalocean through paypal with option Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice under Other Conversion Options during payment.
I just tried it and it did not work. Apparently, they do not support “debit or prepaid cards”. I’m guessing Entropay counts as a prepaid card.
