I installed the OpenVPN + PiHole droplet and transferred the client.ovpn to my computer. I connected to the VPN, but can’t access pi.hole/admin or myip/admin. I’ve also tried using my iPhone and the profile with the OpenVPN app. I’ve looked at the info here and the demo provided, but nothing helped. Any suggestions?

Hi @jackdunaway13, I’ve experienced this recently, as well, and we are working to update this image to correct this behavior. As a workaround in the meantime, try changing the resolvers on your Droplet to something known to be working(Cloudflare, Google DNS, OpenDNS, etc) then reconfigure the pihole service with the below command:
pihole -r
Then, disconnect/reconnect to the VPN and pihole should be working correctly.
Hello there,
As mentioned this is most likely due to failed DNS resolvers, you can verify that if you try to reach an external resource, just try to ping any domain name and this should return an error.
You can always add a second resolve to kick in just in case you run into the same situation.
Regards
