How can I have my own nameserver? As in ns1.mysite.com?
Just so that my hosting looks professional to my clients instead of referring them to ns1.digitalocean.com.
Im using ubuntu 10.04 and zpanel, along with the $5 plan.

Would we get the IPs by executing:

nslookup ns1.digitalocean.com

nslookup ns2.digitalocean.com

nslookup ns3.digitalocean.com

???
You would need to goto your registrar and register ns1.mysite.com and ns2.mysite.com as nameservers and point them to the IPs where you have setup your nameservers such as Bind.

Then you would be able to run your own DNS. If Zpanel includes support for DNS you could register those domains as hosts as nameservers and point them to the IP of your virtual server and it should most likely work.
Thanks. Hopefully DigitalOcean would offer domain name registration soon, so I can manage everything and get support from one place.
