At some point in the past a dev team moved my nameserver from godaddy to digital ocean. I’m not a techie and don’t know why they did this.
I actually aren’t using DO for hosting but it looks like I’ve been paying for it until recently when the card they had on file was no longer valid.
The problem is, today I stopped receiving email @mydomain.com and the website is down. I can still send email out. I was told by somebody to check my dns settings. When I logged into Godaddy they said the nameservers were at digital ocean, When I logged into DO I was hit with demands for payment ($70 for droplets that I don’t use)
Truth is I live in my car, times are tough, and I don’t want to have to give DO more money so that I can access my account again and view the dns settings to try and transfer them back to godaddy.
Any idea how I can get the DO dns info so I can move it to GoDaddy?

If you don’t use digitalocean for anything, then simply go back to Godaddy, change the nameservers to godaddy. it’s possible to do as long as you bought the domain name from godaddy.
Use this article http://support.hostgator.com/articles/how-to-change-godaddy-name-servers Its in the 5th example, you may be able to see DigitalOcean nameservers under the “Custom” section, simply change it back to “Standard” one. and I am sorry for what you have been through, hope you may be able to recover from it soon. goodluck.
