I have been searching the DigitalOcean community, and it seems as these people have the ability to add more than one domain to DigitalOcean, yet I have to contact the team. Is there a reason for this?

Some new accounts have limitations on them due to various reasons. In such cases, it’s always best to contact DigitalOcean’s support. They’ll have access to the settings of your account and help you with the limitations you are experiencing.

you can add any number of domains to DNS Service, Go to Networking then Domains on your control panel.
if you mean to link multiple domains to your server you can search for the virtual hosts on Apache or Nginx.
