I’d love to know as well.
Linode apparently has 10k IOPS limits:
Does DigitalOcean have any IOPS limits per droplet? Automated or manual (abuse team)? Maybe different IOPS limits on different droplets?
There should be some rules about that, since it's a VPS provider. So would be good to know, when exactly a droplet would be blocked, on which IOPS value?
If REALLY droplet's IOPS would reach as high as 50k-60k (or even higher, like 90k), and would remain there constantly, what will happen then? (Fully legitimate use, nothing illegal, nothing bad, nothing forbidden, just a normal good website becoming steadily popular).
I'm having problems editing files in my droplet using Fetch, everything was working fine before until today... I'm basically trying to edit my style sheet but it's not letting me edit it because i apparently don't have the required permissions. I am able to access and view all my files and copy them to my desktop via Fetch using my SSH key, however i'm unable to delete or edit anything. When i look at the info of the folders, under ownership and permissions it displays that my current user can Read, Write, and Execute. Group: www-data same thing Read, Write, and Execute. Others : Read and Execute.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
really excited to try digital ocean spaces!
I'm currently using Laravel and aws s3 for streaming and download video on my site
i'm using [aws-sdk-php-laravel](https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-php-laravel) right now for generating presigned url for my videos (not the phpleague flysystem)
my question is, how can do this with digitalocean spaces, or rather
how can i easily move to do spaces using the same sdk?
So, i'm a non technical guy who followed the instructions at https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-ssh-keys--2 to generate both public and private key with the default file path.
Then, tried to setup FileZilla to connect to my server using SFTP via instructions at https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-filezilla-to-transfer-and-manage-files-securely-on-your-vps where I then couldn't find the key file apparently stored somewhere locally on my hard drive? I even tried to search on my local HD with id_rsa
Thanks in advanced for the help.
