Hey, I followed the setup guide to setting up iRedMail on my droplet, and when it came to setup the domain I put :
mydomain.com. <—yes note the dot on the end, it would NOT let me enter mydomain.com at setup, i had to include the dot at the end to proceed.
so now my i redmail.tips file says my login is :
postmaster@yourdomain.com.
so then i go to try and login and it tells me its an invalid email address. I am distressing on how to go about changing this back to normal. Please dear lord tell me I don’t have to destroy my droplet and start over …

I know this is a late reply but you can just login into your server and generate a new password using doveadm
doveadm pw -s 'ssha512' -p 'new_password' #copy the output
mysql -u root -p
>use vmail;
>update mailbox set password='doveadm output' WHERE username='postmaster@domain';
With this you can check whether the email includes the dot and possible change the query to change the username, but this might have unknown consequences.
