Out of a suddenly, my website shows error that it failed to connect to database without us doing anything. I quickly tried to ssh into the server, it shows timeout. Then i try to login to digital ocean portal and click the database droplet, it shows “Backup is processing…”. However, the progress bar is not moving and i didn’t initiate the backup (guess it is the auto backup).
I have no way of restarting the server from there. I can’t access it at all. Tried creating a support ticket. It has bean half an hour and no reply from the customer service yet. Anyway to contact them faster??? My website has been down for more than half an hour…
