Hello community!
I am a brand new user and customer at DO, and I have a problem. I found a guide here at DO how to set up a Minecraft server, I followed exactly the same steps as mentioned, but now that I have tested that, I would like to remove it. However, here’s the issue and my question.
How do I remove my Minecraft server? I have tried to remove the directory “minecraft” but it keeps recreating, and I have no idea how I shut down my server aswell, because when i am connected to the server, and when I am deleting the “minecraft” directory I wont get disconnected from the server, and I have no idea how I fix this. Could somone please be gentle and explain me?

You need to kill the PID# for the process running.
Type: sudo ps ux and locate the process and then type: kill -9 PID#
