How do I get a refund when support doesnt reply?

March 2, 2015 1.4k views

heard good things about D.O. but wow wacky workflow vs ec2, shared hosts, everyone else.

it seems to take 10 steps several tutorials, many SSH sessions and a 3rd party tool to do anything. its like co-lo, but its too costly from a time=money perspective vs a shared host or managed. Linux is free if your time is worth nothing type idea.

even the SSH tut. is lame.
(I am doing ripping on D.O. so I could come back one day and D.O. has tons of people asking for a real control panel) CLI is so slow vs gui. not talking crons or multi deploys.

even the 1 click installs are lame- why take up your whole drop with 1 install?
lame, lame, lame. why not a cpanel and take it from there? or a custom image where you pick how many wordpresses or whatever you want on the drip drop.

how do I get a refund- do I just escalate on paypal?

Your mastery of amateur server management is astonishing. Please make a tumblr blog about it.

In order to request a refund, simply open a ticket with our support team either from the control panel or by emailing support@. You will need to ensure that you have first destroyed any running droplets on your account so it is no longer incurring any charges.

I find GoDaddy a more suitable provider for your needs, or Wix

this is not a low volume business provider.
this is hardcore, dedicated employee- not employer type environment.

For business its generating income. not spend all your time hardening apache and geeking out on the back end. This is not for lead gen/marketing guys. its for server admins.
